COVID-19 Guidelines for Gatherings Aboard SDYC Yachts

The health and safety of our clients and employees is, and has always been, a top priority at Sun Dream Yacht Charters. As a food service provider, we have always been monitored by the Florida Department of Health and have followed the required protocols for keeping our galleys and facilities disinfected and disease free. In addition, all of our chefs and servers are Safe-Serv Certified. Because of the Covid-19 crisis, we have consulted the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), FL Department of Health, and the FL Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) guidelines and have increased the steps we take to ensure the health and safety of our crew and guests.

  • Until further notice, we will operate at 50% of allowed capacity on each of the yachts (determined by the United States Coast Guard).

  • Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and throughout each of the yachts, and anti-bacterial soap is available to guests in each of the restrooms.

  • We are taking the temperature of each staff/crew member prior to each charter.

  • All guests will be required to use hand sanitizer (provided by SDYC) prior to each charter and before being allowed to board the yacht.

  • All crew will be required to war face masks throughout each charter.

  • Until further notice, all guests will be required to wear a face mask/face covering throughout the charter (when not eating and/or drinking).

  • All crew will be required to wear gloves throughout each charter.

  • All food will be served by crew/servers. Guests will not be permitted to touch any surfaces on which food is placed.

  • The yachts have always been cleaned and disinfected prior to/after each charter. This will, of course, continue -- with special attention given to shared surfaces (ie: doorknobs, faucet & toilet handles, railings, chair armrests, tabletops, etc.).

  • As always, all serving pieces, plates, platters, utensils, etc. will continue to be cleaned and sanitized according to Florida Department of Health guidelines.

  • Guests who have serious underlying health conditions and/or are considered vulnerable should not attend events.

As always, the safety of our crew and clients is our top priority. With your cooperation, we will help keep our community safe.
We look forward to having you on-board!
